Flight to London

Madeline: I am writing this from the airplane, we’re flying over the U.S.A. and all the houses look like little specks of light. OH MY GOSH! We just flew through a cloud, and it looks awesome!!! I’m eating pretzels and drinking sprite right now. I get to watch movies, lay back and read. This is an overnight flight, but I think I’m too excited to sleep.

It is 10:20pm, and in London it is 3:20am! Guess what I got to do? Go in the cockpit and meet the pilots! They were so nice, they showed me all the buttons (there’s like a million buttons, I don’t know how the pilots know what to do!) and they let me wear a pilot's hat and sit in the pilot's seat.

Well we will soon be flying over the Atlantic Ocean on our way to London! The trip is almost 4,000 miles. We will arrive at 9:30am London time (only 4:30am our time).

Good-bye for now!.....
