Jacob: We spent the whole day on airplanes! First we took a flight from Detroit to Atlanta, then after a few hours we took a flight to Rome. Ben and I got to sit together on both flights. 
We flew through the clouds...it looked like a complete whiteout. Then we got above the clouds and could see the clouds below, and the cities, and then the ocean. Our flight to Rome went through the night. We tried to sleep on the plane, but people kept snoring and kicking my seat.
